Very affordable for what you get. Clean facilities, nice staff, and a basic breakfast. Also fast internet which seems to be hard to come by in the area. Only downside was room seemed musty when we first arrived. Opened window for 10 minutes to remedy issue.
The bathroom was clean! The room was a bit dated but the beds were comfortable and the room itself was clean too. The staff were friendly. Good value for the price, pet friendly, they provided local vet information and the hotel is close to a trail you can walk on. Would stay again.
Wonderful amenities for a low, low price. The rooms are classy and clean. The staff is courteous and professional. Breakfast is wonderful. It's clear the staff take pride in their work, and each one deserves a raise. I love staying at the Microtel in Kearney and stay there every chance I can.
Exceeded my expectations! A very good value. I'm difficult to please, but my stay was delightful. The room was nice, the bed was so comfortable, the staff was warm and helpful, and the accommodations in general were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was more than the usual! They had bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, cheese, breads and pastries, waffles, cold cereal, juice, milk, coffee, tea, and fresh fruit. The breakfast lady was really hospitable, sweet, and welcoming. I arrived very late in the night, and so I barely made it downstairs by 9:30 for breakfast, but she made sure I had everything I wanted, and she didn't start folding up the operation abruptly like most other places do. Even though I arrived at the breakfast area at closing time, it didn't look like it had been stampeded. It looked beautiful and fully-stocked at literally the last 2 minutes, like it was waiting on the first guest to arrive. How nice! Housekeeping was un-obtrusive and I was able to sleep late without the roar of vacuum cleaners. I was pleasantly surprised over-all, and I usually wouldn't give 5 stars, but these great people earned a 5. Thanks for the fine hospitality y'all
This place is amazing! For $85/room its by far the best place weve stayed. As my husband said, I cant believe its under $100. The room is modern, clean and spacious. The pull out sofa was great for our son. He is an athletic, squirmy sleeper and we put the small mattress on the floor in case he rolled off of it. Our room was quiet! The breakfast was great- eggs, bacon, pastries, oatmeal, waffles and even a nice selection of hot teas. Ive stayed twice and will be back.
