Not a bad place for a cheap quiet stop. This isn't Kennsington Palace, so if you're looking for frills like wet bars, probably not gonna find that stuff. Just a clean, quiet room for a good price.
I've actually really enjoyed my stay. It was easy check in. They only asked for my ID and my phone number. I also paid online though. Free breakfast in the morning. It was pretty good. After arriving to my room I had to lock the door that leads to the hallway. There isn't enough plugs for my phone. I had to unplug the clock.
I stayed here overnight on a long road trip, and for the price I paid, it was OK. The bed was comfortable and I slept fine, but the controls on the AC were borderline broken, which made it tricky to get the room to an appropriate temperature (and the AC was a must because it was 95+ outside). Also, the shower bathroom amenities were not great. The shower towels are not much bigger than hand towels, and you only get one bar of soap that's about 1 square inch large. I'd stay here again if I had to, but if I swing through Kearney again, I'll most likely shell out an extra $10 for the Motel 6 nearby.
Definitely not the Hyatt but if it's a no-frills stay that you're wanting or needing, the $40+ is fine. I had no real issues.
Terrible experience so far. Set a reservation and got confirmation over the phone that we have already paid for the room. Show up at 1am this morning to find out the payment had not gone through, and since this room was reserved by my father in law to meet his side of the family, they could not process the payment for the room without the card from my father in law. So there's strike one. Strike two, the staff member working July 21st at 1 am was extremely rude to us, giving g me snobby replies instead of a welcoming smile. Third, I ask to speak to the manager, snobby desk guy says they will not be in until 1pm today. I show up at 3pm and the manager is already gone. How the hell can you run a successful business and not work or be available weekends?4th the rooms are outdated. Myself and my wife woke up itchy which I'm hoping does not mean there are bed bugs. And 5th and finally, I have a 30inch TV and zero channels... I would highly advise against staying here, borderline pay people to stay somewhere else.
