LOVE IT. Will stay again if ever in the area. Fantastic breakfast spread. Loved the room and was told it wasn't even one of the already renovated rooms. One of the best places I've ever stayed. You won't find better around for the price!
Very nice hotel, clean lobby and desk staff was very nice and was able to tell me were to go for good Chinese food. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was good
The high review rating of this sad little place is suspicious at best. Then again, expectations for Kearney are probably different, or maybe it's just the wrong neighborhood. We stayed there on two separate nights. Mark it up to laziness and the fact that every other place in Kearney was booked to the gills first FOR SOME REASON... Cost us $95/night to be poisoned by foul air and a breakfast of cold frozen biscuits and gravy from cans. The rooms are basically ancient with embedded grime, but the carpets are dark so you can't tell. One of our rooms was adjacent to cycling machinery that rattled the floor, the other had decades of crumbs, dropped food, and whatnot down in the AC vents, making the smell from the fan too awful to use it. The beds are a joke, bouncy-bouncy cheap springs. The "security door" to the outside on our end of the building was broken so any damn fool could come in and roam. They can't be paying the staff much. Nothing will ever be upgraded or fixed, it is what it is, and must be making its owners a fortune. Good luck!
We were passing through town and needed a place to sleep. The kids were bummed there was not a pool so we upgraded room to jacuzzi room. The kids had a blast in the tub. The staff was nice. But the room didnt seem cozy. We got the kids to bed and as soon as we were almost asleep a huge cockroach fell on my husband head. He jumped up turned on the lights and started to look for more. Caught a small one put it in the cup and brought it to the front seat. The guy said he would give us money back. We went to the Hampton down the road and everyone felt at home in a clean bug free hotel.
What a lovely place! Everything was great here, from the check-in to our breakfast the next day. Clean, priced right, and very comfortable. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
