Room was clean, with a good number of outlets for charging electronics. Nice sized room, a good TV channel selection, good sized bathroom. Breakfast had a nice selection of hot food, oatmeal, cereal, fruit and pastries.
Fantastic Staff!! I stayed here 3 weeks, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. It was fun and slightly amusing with their, "welcome home" when you returned. Seriously.. if you're needing a hotel at Kearney you need to stay here!! They'll make you feel at home. :D
Excellent all around! Newer property, very clean, and the free breakfast was terrific. I also really appreciated that the girl at the front desk made a point to put me on a different floor than the volleyball team that was just arriving, so I had a nice quiet night. Even the employees putting out the free breakfast were super nice. Would definitely stay again!
This hotel seems newer & it is in excellent condition. The workers even hosed off the main entrance just before we arrived! Checkout is to your right when one walks in. We were immediately greeted by 2 smiling friendly workers. Male & female. They made us feel special, like they knew us & said all the right things. Our room was spacious, and just what we wanted. Used the pool & hot tub. The pool is smaller, (a bit cool), with a 5 foot deep end, and the hot tub is made from a molded polycarbonate material that holds 6 persons & was very welcoming. Towels were rolled up nicely for guests on each table, and stacked beautifully in the towel closet. The area has rules, which help to keep it clean, such as no person under 5 in the hot tub, and no alcohol in the pool room. This hotel is not dog friendly, and we were happy with that, as we have allergies. There is a yummy BBQ place adjacent to this HI well recommended & we ate dinner there. Came back to our room full. The refrigerator in our room did not have a freezer in it, which would have been nice to use to freeze our ice packs for our cooler. This HI was a good choice for us on our way home to Michigan from a trip out West.
We had a great stay at the Kearney, Nebraska Holiday Inn Express. The staff was VERY professional and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a great temperature and our A/C cooled our room perfectly. We would also like to give a shout out to April. She is a rock star in our book.
